The official US sales data is now in thanks to the NPD Group. The best-selling video game during January in the United States was Dying Light for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Talking of the PlayStation 4, it was the best-selling hardware of the month. Nintendo fans should be pleased as Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U remain in the top ten best-sellers in January and was placed sixth in the all-formats charts. Here’s the best-selling video games in the United states during January.

This was exactly what I was thinking. Plus only 3 sports games and one CoD unlike the EU charts which is made up of 2 thirds Sports games and 2 versions of CoD and Minecraft.
UK is no different from US charts which both came from same worlds so they like the same half-assed falsely advertised garbage.

It will never stop selling. When will everyone realize this!!? They will keep on making Minecraft versions on different devices and people will keep on buying the game on every device they own that can play the game.
I have still yet to see the appeal in Minecraft.

Not so sure about Smash. I played it for a week. I’m not sure if it is because they spoiled everything about the game before release or if the game just isn’t that good but just the thought of getting off the couch and putting the disc in the console seems like too much of a hassle to play it.
They’ve been doing that for Smash Bros. since the very first game in 1999. There’s no surprises other than reveals of big features in conferences like E3 to increase hype.
