Turns out we are getting the Animal Crossing downloadable content pack for Mario Kart earlier than expected as Nintendo of America has confirmed it’s coming on April 23rd. Nintendo has also announced that a brand new 200CC class will be added to Mario Kart 8 for free on the very same day.

Man, I also just recently got into Splatoon! It always did seem interested but I don’t know, there’s a sudden click! Maybe I’ll feel like the with Star Fox U. I’ve seen a bit of Starfox gameplay, but I never actually played a game in the series, maybe I should give it a try. And Mario Maker? I want it now!!
Yeh I found Splatoon interesting too at first but when they showed it off, it was played to death. When at E3, it was the same thing again and again..I’ve really only played Lylat Wars on the N64 (StarFox 64) and I have it on 3DS too and it’s amazing! Mario Maker is looking amazing!

I looks like some new shortcuts can be accessed in 200cc mode and other Mushroom based shortcuts, like the Dolphin Shoals ending shortcut, can be made Shroomless. Can’t wait, the wait has been gladly reduced.

I love this idea, but wouldnt have been better to fix the Battle mode? MK8’s Battle Mode was horrible and very lazy work on their part, the game has been out nearly a year, but we are still stuck with crappy excuses for battle stages :/

200cc looks cool and all, about as fast as Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed was, but where the heck are Battle Arenas? Just remake the 4 arenas from Mario Kart 64 in HD and be done with it…
Yeah, ever since I’ve got Sonic Transformed, I always wished a Mario Kart would be as fast. But SASRT still feels swifter, like when you drift…don’t really know how to explain it, they are both different games. Either way, I’m so thankful for 200CC, it was much needed.

It was in Super Mario Kart, then it was replaced by Mirror Mode in every game after, up until now.

Pack 1 has been released and pack 2 wasnt due until may. You can buy both at a discounted price and when pack 2 gets released it automatically downloads.
I grew up with Atari and Nintendo. We were happy to play anything. The new generation of gamers, are always bitching and whining. If you don’t like the DLC, game or system don’t fucking buy it. Who cares what you want or don’t want. Fuck off. MK8 is a masterpiece. I am more than enthusiastic over Nintendo’s dedication to keep improving upon an already stellar game.
