Check Out The First 90 Minutes Of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker released today in North America for the Nintendo 3DS, and you can check out the first 90 minutes of the game in the video above. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker is an exclusive Nintendo 3DS enhanced version of the Nintendo DS title Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, a sequel to the original Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. Not only is it an enhanced version, but includes a brand new full-length story (the Triangulum Arc) after the original game’s ending (the Septentrione Arc.)

These games are tactical RPGs developed by Atlus– makers of Persona– and follows the story of Japanese high school students who join a pact and are able to summon demons to fight off creatures invading the whole of Japan. You play as a silent, young character whose thoughts and actions you decide through the game and affect the outcome of the plot. This enhanced Nintendo 3DS version expands upon the game by adding the Triangulum Arc set just after the original. It releases in Europe sometime in Autumn this year. Will you be getting yourself this game?

  1. Bought the first on sale on the eshop haven’t had a chance to play it yet but hopefully it’s good so I can then play this one… If only there were more hours in the day

    1. I hear that. I’ve played the 1st, 2nd, then the First “Overclocked” (which was amazing) – I’ve got MH4, Etrain Untold and X3D, with X coming out soonish? (I hope) – I’ll wait for a sale, but I’m just swamped in RPG’s!

      1. It will happen, it will. All their games after a few months get a price drop. Not only in eShop but in other online stores as well. I got a physical release of limited version of SMT IV for 25 bucks and not ~50, the same was with EO Untold I etc.

  2. I love the Devil Survivor games, and Atlus period. These last couple weeks of school have been killing me, but once I get out this game will be on my summer game list. Also if you like tactical/strategy RPGs I reccomend trying out the series. :)

  3. Ridley, the Angel of Death

Since I have no intention of buying this game, I’ll watch a bit of this video to see if it will change my mind.
