Here’s This Week’s Nintendo Downloads For The United States

Amidst all the E3 news comes the Nintendo downloads courtesy of Nintendo America. There’s a number of titles that you may want to get your hands on including Earthbound Beginnings and also Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on the Wii U. On the Nintendo 3DS there’s the additional content for Super Smash Bros which was announced last week. Here’s what you can get your hands on.

  • Virtual Console on Wii U
    • EarthBound Beginnings – The Year is 198X. As Ninten, a young boy from Podunk with psychic powers, you must locate the eight melodies to aid the Queen of Magicant. Armed with your trusty baseball bat, you’ll fight crazed hippies, zombies … and the occasional Magic Snail? Find out what’s causing these strange phenomena in the first-ever U.S. release of the EarthBound Beginnings game! Click here to view a trailer for the game.
    • Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones – The kingdom of Renais lies in ruins, shattered by a sudden invasion from a former ally. In this Game Boy Advance classic, use cunning strategy to guide the royal heirs, Eirika and Ephraim, on their quest to rebuild Renais. Take advantage of your strengths and exploit your enemy’s weaknesses, but be careful: If soldiers perish on the battlefield, they are gone forever!
  • Nintendo eShop on Wii U

    • Nintendo is celebrating its lineup at E3 2015 with up to 30 percent off select games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Fans can score deals on games related to some of the top franchises being featured at the show, including Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, LEGO, Just Dance and Yoshi.   1. Nintendo screwed us up a lot during the E3, and all we can see are forgetable games being offered this week (I know this does not apply for Earthbound, but still).

    After successful Earthbound games on VC watch Nintendo to announce new Earthbound spinoff for mobiles called EarthBoard where you need amiibos to play it….

  3. I literally can’t enjoy anything they give me at the moment. Apart of me like that’s dope but I’m to mad to be happy I’ll get over it but damn ya should of just did nintendo championship pull us fan to the side before E3 & say (iwata ok guy’s here the truth we having noting other the starfox this year please understand) i would of been far less man then u beating around the bush

  4. The fuck? comic workshop 2? seriously? why not just update the fucking app instead of releasing a new one altogether, making me pay an extra $6?

  5. Comic Workshop 2? That sounds like the game that my niece is going nuts wanting. And I never even heard of it.

  6. I will be purchasing Shin Megami Tensei DS Overclocked now. I really appreciate Atlus’s constant sales of their games. I also might get Earthbound Origins later this week.
