Splatune, the jaunty soundtrack CD to Splatoon, has taken the Japanese album charts by storm. The daily Oricon charts show that the chirpy album managed to sell an impressive 24,000 units on the day it launched. It did so well that it only just charted behind Japonism by Arashi, who are an extremely popular idol group. It will certainly be interesting to see how it performs over the coming days.
