Sonic creator Yuji Naka has expressed his interest in creating a sequel to both Rodea the Sky Soldier and also his other pet project, Ivy the Kiwi. Naka said that both games are very special to him and if he was given the chance he would create sequels to both. I suppose it all depends on how well Rodea the Sky Soldier does next week in North America and Europe for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
Ivy the Kiwi and Rodea are two titles that have a special part in my heart, so I would love to try creating sequels if I am given the opportunity. I constantly have ideas for new titles. Though I cannot say them here, please look forward to the day I can show them to the public.
I have a big part of my childhood to thank him for. I’ll buy Rodea. But I wont buy another shit Sonic game he didn’t even work on. Like Sonic Baam.
I already pre-ordered the collectors edition from NISA online store.
I had, but then promptly cancelled once I got Best Buy Gamers Unlocked.
Hopefully with that follow-up they actually release it primarily the way he designed it.
Well you get both version anyways.
Just the first run, though. After that it’s out-of-print.
Does anybody knows is this game is also just 888mbs to download it?
Maybe you should change it to co-creator since there were two other guys helping with Sonic’s creation.
It’s made by Yuji Naka i’m big fan of his games and as you can tell by looking at the trailers it similar to nights this game is far better than that game flying section with rich detailed 3d environment filled with action and ground uses a gun it’s pretty cool games, i will be pre ordering probably limited edition if its cheap, we have another good game for 2015, if i like this game i will probably buy the sequel.
I doubt there are any limited editions left by this point.
There’s 0-5% left. Plus I recently cancelled mine so there’s at least one.
You better hurry up for the Limited Edition. There’s only 0-5% left of stock.

I hate it when developers start talking about sequels before we even try the initial project.
actually this game have like 4 years on development. every dev always going to think what next? i think this is Normal. Everyones always want a sequel of his first Game. Bud it all depend “how well sell”.
Of course he’s already thinking about what to do next. If it sells he needs to move his ass fast while it’s relevant so that people don’t stop caring.
