YouTube channel TilmenDomination has created a comparison video of Hyrule Warriors Legends played on both the original model of the Nintendo 3DS and the New Nintendo 3DS. The video compares FPS and detail on both versions of the 3DS, with both screens shown side by side in the clip.
As you can see, it certainly performs better on the New Nintendo 3DS, and on the older model there are evident frame rate drops, take a look for yourself below:

This really should have just been a New 3DS exclusive lol
Well, Hyrule Warriors should have stayed a Wii U exclusive in the first place lol
And maybe Wii U shouldn’t barely advertise itself and have the games sold like crap.
What about Splatoon? :0
A so called hyped Wii U game that didn’t even sell past 2.5 million WORLDWIDE?
i did not sell like crap. It sold so well in NA even that Dragon Quest Heroes decided to release here. Quite clear you dont know what you are talking about sir…
it may not have sold well in japan but in NA it sold a lot in one week.
Don’t bother. He’s the local buffoon around these parts.
In US..what is that? Like up to 500,000, TODAY?
Yes. I am so glad I decided to upgrade to the new system last year.
I was hyped to get one the second it was announced for Japan. Grabbed it with MH4U on it’s release day and basked in it’s faster glory ever since.
Jesus. Between the pop in, the ~20fps and the slowdowns, one would think that this should have been a N3DS exclusive. This is sad to watch.
Didn’t ya post this same story yesterday? lol
That was a Wii U to regular 3DS comparison if I recall
And what’s the difference besides more content for less for whoever is smarter and patient for and slight graphical difference?
Sleepy is right, Sickr posted a Wii U vs. 3DS comparison :-)
And yet, I don’t get why Issac isn’t compatible to original 3DS/XL.
I’m sure the developers stated why it didn’t work on the original model. Something about a lack of RAM if I recall correctly. Eh, the explanation is out there somewhere.
Oh please.
Wow. I pity anyone getting this game but refuses to upgrade to the n3DS. Have fun….. suckers..! lol Of course, this wouldn’t be an issue at all if they had just made the new content in Legends an expansion pack for the Wii U version. It would have been a great way to get Hyrule Warriors for Wii U back into the lime light. But let’s screw the Wii U out of an exclusive instead of beefing up said exclusive in an attempt to sell even more Wii Us.
This is one of the reasons why the Wii U is failing to reach 20-25m sales. Not to mention the terrible advertising strategy still going on for games that aren’t Splatoon. Tell me, how’s the advertising for Xenoblade Chronicles X doing right now? Selling 3-5 million copies of the game while selling 5-10 million Wii U consoles?
