Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 Features Japanese Voiceovers

Inti Creates president Takuya Aizu has discussed a number of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 related things in an extensive and in-depth interview. One of the things revealed is that 8-4 are back again to provide translation work for the sequel to Azure Striker Gunvolt. However, they have decided to go about the translation work a little differently this time around. Aizu has also confirmed that Japanese voice acting will feature in Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. Finally those who own the original game will be pleased to know that they’re bringing the Steam update to the Nintendo 3DS. This brings Japanese voiceovers as well as a re-translation.

“We are working with 8-4 again on the translation, but as you may know, we got a lot of feedback from the first game in regards to what people thought of its English translation. The team at 8-4 is very much aware of that feedback, so the translation for Gunvolt 2 may vary a little bit from what you saw with the first game. We have the utmost faith in 8-4’s abilities, and have no doubts in our minds that they will produce a fabulous translation.”
