Hyrule Warriors Legends‘ second piece of downloadable content will feature Marin from The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. The upcoming Link’s Awakening pack also includes a new weapon for Linkle, 16 new My Fairy Costume pieces, a new map for Adventure Mode and two new adventure battle scenarios. You’ll be able to purchase the pack on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U when it arrives in the summer.

This… is actually a pleasant surprise. I thought she would a least be an alternate costume for Zelda, not be her full fledged character.

I kinda want a remake to Awakening after seeing this. I loved playing it as a kid but it really hasn’t aged well.
If you can get over having to switch your items via menu every 4 steps inside dungeons, it’s not that bad. I still play it from time to time, and consider it to be one of the best entries in the franchise. Top 5 for sure, at least.
So I got Legends yesterday, and I played the first two levels of Legend Mode. The player switching apparently cuts down on having to replay levels with two or three separate warriors since you can bring two (at least I think) warriors into battle per level. I did peek into the first Adventure Mode map only to see that the entire reward layout has been drastically changed (as in the rewards as I’ve seen so far).
Can we get Vaati, Nabooru, Veran, Nayru, Din, Ralph, and Bellum as playable characters please, and maybe a story campaign with those characters, that would be a welcomed add-on to this game!
You forgot Rauru. We need all 7 sages in the damn game as playable.

Or at the very least Twinrova as a playable character, I think they more than earned a seat at the playable characters table! Seriously consider Vaati, Din, Nayru, and Twinrova please!
As interesting as it is to see Marin return, how about some more male characters. Out of all the males, we only have three Links, Darunia, Tingle, and six villains. I know Onox and Ralph are likely ownwed by Crapcom, but how about Linebeck, Bryne, Pince Komali, or Kafei (I’m reaching right now).
Bryne or Toon Zelda’s Possesed Phantom are my hopes for the Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks DLC tbh
Hopefully then Ravio and Hilda for Link between Worlds but I think it will Yuga instead of Hilda

So is there a way to transfer your progress on the wiiu over to the 3ds? I really don’t feel like leveling all those characters all over again, thats the only reason I haven’t bought it yet
Pretty sure the only thing you can transfer is DLC.
Nope. No cross save. Nintendo’s way behind the competition in that area right now. :/
