It’s Wednesday so that means it is time to find out which software and hardware were the best-sellers last week in Japan. On the software front it is still Yo-Kai Watch 3 that claims the top spot. Interestingly, Minecraft Wii U has climbed this week and is at number three whereas the previous week it was number five. With regards to hardware it is no surprise to see the Nintendo 3DS on top, but all in all hardware sales are pretty weak this week.

Seriously though, I don’t think Japan is that in to pre-ordering culture.
And rumors or hype seldom affects sales there.
Well either way, most people are probably holding off on getting a PS4 when the Pro is on the horizon. If I didn’t already have a PS4 I’d be doing the same thing.
Same here. I don’t regret getting it when I did. Otherwise, my backlog of PS4 games would be a hell of a lot worse than what it is now.
Also, if I had a 4K TV I might be slightly more interested, but I’m happy with my TV and have no interest in 4K atm.
I am however, considering upgrading from a 500GB to a 1TB, I’m already having to delete game files to make room for others…
I’m gonna have to upgrade my TV eventually. The one I got now, which is a replacement for a Toshiba SmarTV I had to replace a couple months back, has very shitty burn-in screen reduction, so if you leave something static on there for more than a minute, it burns into the fucking screen & can be see when the screen has a lite shade on there. The longer the static image remains motionless, the longer the burn-in lasts & the easier it is to see it. Grr. But it’s bearable right now even though it annoys me.
I have a samsung rear projection dlp tv from 2006. It got some white dots after many years and I got a chip replaced to correct it, but I love the picture on it, so I’ve been trying to keep it last as long as I can lol
Not surprising, people were most likely just holding back for the new models. Things will probably be back to normal in next week’s report.
