Today Marks The 2nd Anniversary of Playtonic Games

It’s UK video game development firm Playtonic’s second anniversary so naturally they’ve celebrated the occasion with a sumptuous looking cake. You can check out the cake they’ve had especially baked for the occasion below. Their first game Yooka-Laylee launches on April 11th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a Nintendo Switch version coming later.

Thanks to N-Dub Nation for the tip!

  1. Congratulations! I hope you guys become just as legendary as the old Rare , I have no doubt you will though with the people working over there. And please stay cross platform so we no longer need a nintendo console to play your games ;)

  2. I have confidence in Yooka-Laylee. From what I’ve seen, it looks great. Dialog is needlessly annoying sounding, but it looks fantastic. If the Switch is as easy to develop for as all the indies are saying, it shouldn’t be too long before the game shows up.
