It’s UK video game development firm Playtonic’s second anniversary so naturally they’ve celebrated the occasion with a sumptuous looking cake. You can check out the cake they’ve had especially baked for the occasion below. Their first game Yooka-Laylee launches on April 11th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a Nintendo Switch version coming later.

Just imagine if Yooka-Laylee turned out terrible. I don’t think the world could take another shock like it.
It won’t be the people working there proved them selfs time and time again. It even looks 100% made by the same guys.
I have confidence in Yooka-Laylee. From what I’ve seen, it looks great. Dialog is needlessly annoying sounding, but it looks fantastic. If the Switch is as easy to develop for as all the indies are saying, it shouldn’t be too long before the game shows up.
Congrats, Playtonic- I’m looking forward to your first game! I just wish I could’ve backed it during its crowdfunding.
