The original Splatoon launched alongside a small line of amiibo, so it makes sense that the Switch sequel would release with some of the figures too. These figures seem to have a different purpose than the previous ones, allowing players to save custom gear sets. These will launch alongside the game on July 21st
It’s a scientific fact that new #Splatoon2 series amiibo figures will be released – Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Inkling Squid. pic.twitter.com/q6xfpJmG24

I would rather have new amiibo rather than basicly the same one from last time
they better allow you to save gear presets in the game without amiibo’s
I need that purple squid… Give it to me…
||I don’t remember recruiting you…||
May I, Commander?
||Access granted…||
Why not Inkoming?
so this is the 3rd time they releasing the SAME amiibo
