Super Mario 64 Mod Lets Players Make And Share Their Own Levels

Super Mario Maker finally let fans design their own 2D levels for the famous plumber to traverse. While the 3D Mario games like 64 and Sunshine weren’t featured in the package, Kaze Emanuar has just released Super Mario 64 Maker. It’s a mod of the original game that allows players to design and share their own 3D Mario levels. Alongside a link, Emanuar has released a trailer for the game. Check it out below.

      1. I FORGET ALL THE TIME THAT MY FUCKING SMARTPHONE DECIDES TO CLOSE THE KEYBOARD EVERY TIME THE LETTER I NEED TO HIT IS RIGHT ABOVE THE “POST COMMENT” BUTTON AND I POST PREMATURELY.

As I WAS saying, I forget all the legal jargon, but basically, Nintendo actually can’t touch this as emulators aren’t illegal. ROMs are in certain circumstances, but it’s difficult to prove every single time.

Other Super Mario 64 mods like Star Road and Last Impact are still available years after their releases; this should be no different.

  1. Ridley X3 {Jaded Ninty fan. Greatness Awaits at Sony PlayStation 4. Awaiting Greatness on Nintendo Switch; just need cloud storage, add external HDD support, & to eliminate the need for that stupid Nintendo Switch Online App on smartphones.} says:

Even though mods are legal, I don’t think these are safe anymore since they’ve gotten a taste of shutting down mods with that Pixelmon shutdown.
