Super Mario Maker finally let fans design their own 2D levels for the famous plumber to traverse. While the 3D Mario games like 64 and Sunshine weren’t featured in the package, Kaze Emanuar has just released Super Mario 64 Maker. It’s a mod of the original game that allows players to design and share their own 3D Mario levels. Alongside a link, Emanuar has released a trailer for the game. Check it out below.
Super Mario 64 Mod Lets Players Make And Share Their Own Levels

Inb4 Ninty banhammers them with a dmca
I forget all
I FORGET ALL THE TIME THAT MY FUCKING SMARTPHONE DECIDES TO CLOSE THE KEYBOARD EVERY TIME THE LETTER I NEED TO HIT IS RIGHT ABOVE THE “POST COMMENT” BUTTON AND I POST PREMATURELY.
As I WAS saying, I forget all the legal jargon, but basically, Nintendo actually can’t touch this as emulators aren’t illegal. ROMs are in certain circumstances, but it’s difficult to prove every single time.
Other Super Mario 64 mods like Star Road and Last Impact are still available years after their releases; this should be no different.
Mods are legal!
Yeah but remember Reggie said when it becomes a “marketable game” using their resources that’s when they cut it off
Mods are not games!
They won’t ban him kaze made lots of 64 mods the well known ones being odyssey 3d world and this one being the new one Nintendo hasn’t even laid a finger on him yet he also the best Mario 64 modder
Can we all just agree that this guy is one of the most talented modders out there? This looks good.
I absolutely love Mario 64… its my 3rd fav game EVER! I’ve been following Kaze’s work for year and I agree, in fact, when it comes to mario mods, I believe he is by far the best
Not only is he using elements, but modding. Shame.
Even though mods are legal, I don’t think these are safe anymore since they’ve gotten a taste of shutting down mods with that Pixelmon shutdown.
Should’ve made it grid-based.
