Game Dev Is Letting Fans Choose The Switch Menu Icon For Their Game

There’s been a substantial amount of noise surrounding Nintendo Switch menu icons for some time. A few weeks ago, we saw the icon for Lego Worlds change due to fan complaints. It would seem as though the community is being heard as developer Bplus is letting fans choose its next games’ icon via a Twitter poll before the release. Take a look below at the icon choices for Puzzle Box Maker.

At the time of writing, option 2 seems to be the favourite so far.

Do you think more developers should follow this trend of asking fans which icon they’d prefer?

I guess some people still don’t get the reason people like a good looking icon. It’s the same thing if you wanted good looking box art on your video game case.

    1. No interest in Cuphead or Ori? I think that those are easily among the best games this gen has to offer this far. Based on my experience with the first game State of Decay 2 has great potential too.
