  1. Wow! It’s come so far! What a marvelous idea for a console. And the only word I can say to describe that picture is “lovely”.

    1. You took the words right out of my mouth.

I remember the simple pixel art animation for its birthday last year.

Now it’s been a solid 3 years for Nintendo’s hybrid gaming system.

It’s great that this occasion comes with EShop offers.

But really, where’s the picture of a birthday cake for Breath of the Wild?

  2. Got my Switch in late 2017 with Breath of the Wild. It’s not perfect and there’s still much to improve, but it was absolutely worth it. Animal Crossing and Pokemon this year!

  4. It’s definitely a record-breaking dust collector. I know I’m a collector, but I DON’T LIKE COLLECTING DUST! LOL!

Seriously though, I didn’t realize when buying the Switch that Breath Of The Wild would be my only deep, emersive experience I’d ever have on it. For me, all the Switch has been is an indie console. Because that’s nearly all I’ve been buying on it. Well, I have several games that aren’t exactly indie, but they feel like indie games to me. I hope the upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing are REALLY good games, because I need something to make me realize the Switch is more than just an excellent dust collector.

My Switch has been sitting unplugged next to my PS4 for several months, awaiting the day for it’s return. Man, I’ve NEVER held off on playing a Nintendo console like this before. Then again, I’ve never loved the Playstation as much as I do now either, so that’s probably why. I used to insult people that loved the Playstation, and now I’m become one. I actually feel annoyed when I hear people bragging about the Switch, simply because my experience has been so lukewarm and blah. I’ve never had to wait this long just to feel like a Nintendo console was great before. Though I did feel that greatness when playing Breath Of The Wild (my new favorite Zelda game).

    1. So u ignore nearly all games?
I mean I understand not being interested in them (and the handheld aspect) but jesus man, ur intentionally avoiding the library of the system for just the 1st party titles. (we can include 2nd party as well)
If ur only interested in tht then wht the hell did u just waste $300 for? (U culd’ve just emulated BotW Wii U)
Excluding the other reasons like collecting.
