Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package Nintendo Switch Gameplay

The comedic and action-packed sandbox title Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package is coming to the Nintendo Switch platform on 10th May and the publishers, Deep Silver, have released another trailer showcasing Switch gameplay. The company says that the game brings mayhem to new heights, and it is quite likely that they are right. Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package runs docked at 1080p, which is excellent news.

Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Saints are kings of Stillwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to a new city, playing out the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen.

  1. The simplicity of the graphics give me flashbacks to the Wii days. This does not look like a strong port. Gameplay looks intense though.

    1. Well it was released in 2011 so that was technically “the Wii days” but this is an hd game so would not have been possible on the Wii. I think you are probably looking at an older game through modern eyes and judging it more harshly than it deserves. It’s actually running much better than the original versions, which you’d expect with more powerful hardware, as the PS3 and 360 could only manage 720p and that wasn’t locked. So it’s a good port.

  2. Been playing this on XO GamePass, pretty good game, very GTA-like but much zanier, I may buy it someday on Switch but not likely at launch price.
