Level-5 has trademarked Y School Heroes in the west

Popular development studio Level-5 has issued a new trademark for the west and it is related to the intriguing Yo-Kai Watch series. Y School Heroes: Bustlin’ School Life is a spin-off from the Yo-Kai Watch series and was previously released in Japan back in August 2020. While Switch users are still waiting for Yo-Kai Watch 4, it seems as though Level-5 and a distributor will likely bring Y School Heroes to the west first.

    1. the thing that’s going on is that yokai watch is not popular anymore and doesn’t sell well enough, not to mention that Level-5 permanently shut down their western office branch and said said they have no interest or intentions of ever releasing games they make outside of Japan ever again, and let’s not forget they are constantly having financial problems and a lot of their IPs are no longer popular and no longer sell well, they most likely won’t be in business much longer

    1. no company is going to waste time and money translating a game that will never sell enough to break even, which is why Level-5 most likely already canceled all plans to have any yo-kai watch games translated and released in the west, as they should because yo-kai watch doesn’t even sell well in Japan

      1. yo-kai watch sells very poorly, even in Japan, no company is going to waste time and money translating any yo-kai watch games to release outside of Japan because the games will never sell enough to break even, also, it’s obvious that Level-5 has already canceled all plans to translate and release Y School Heroes in the west
