Blizzard has announced today that the adorable Mei in Overwatch 2 has been disabled for two weeks due to a new bug which has been found related to her Ice Wall ability. The bug seemingly allows players to access areas on the maps which they are not supposed to have access to. Mei’s Ice Wall is a defensive power and it is super handy when your team is being pelted with attacks from the opposing team. Blizzard customer service says they are aiming to bring Mei back in their next big update which is due out on 15th November. Overwatch 2 is available now as a free-to-play game on the Nintendo eShop.
Mei will be removed from Overwatch 2 for 2 weeks due to in-game bug

Interesting, never heard of dev’s temporary disabling a character by removing them but i guess anythings possible.
That is stupid. It would be like removing Zelda or Peach from a smash bros game.
