SEGA has announced its newly published financial results for the fiscal year which was between the start of April 2022 and the end of December 2022. The Japanese company is performing well and one of the games which has contributed to that is the Sonic Team‘s latest platforming game, Sonic Frontiers. SEGA says that the game has sold over 2.9 million copies worldwide (as of December 31st, 2022) and is expected to continue raking in the cash for SEGA with the upcoming downloadable content which is expected this year along with discounts. Another game which has performed well for SEGA was the re-release of Atlus’s acclaimed stylish RPG, Persona 5 Royal, for numerous platforms including the Nintendo Switch family of systems. SEGA says that particular game has now shifted over 1.3 million units worldwide (as of 31st December, 2022)
