Nintendo has been very active with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack retro libraries lately. Although it varies which retro library gets updated, Nintendo’s schedule with new additions has reached a point where it is guaranteed to see at least one retro game added a month.
For example, Nintendo has announced that Pulseman, Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, Kid Chameleon and Flicky are now available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, via the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive library. You can see their announcement tweet down below.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Street Fighter use the six button Genesis controller?
It did, BUT if you had a 3 button controller, if I remember correctly, you could set the 3 buttons to 2 punches and kicks each (making 2 groupings of 3 buttons) and then during a fight hit the “select” button to alternate between which grouping you were using.
It’s so funny
I kinda wish they had the classic WcW and WWF games available, they port other ganres but wrestling games don’t get ported.
