Mega Man series producer has left Capcom

Capcom has recently seen a high-profile departure as Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, the current producer of the Mega Man series and more, has departed the Japanese company. Mr. Tsuchiya became a key player at Capcom following the departure of the prominent, Keiji Inafune, back in 2010. The first Mega Man game that he worked on was Mega Man 7 for the Super Nintendo and more recently helped out on the Mega Man Legacy Collection, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. It is not clear who will replace Kazuhiro Tsuchiya.

  1. Hey “Capcom”! I still interested to buying megaman collection and megamanX collection. But not half legacy collections! Gime all 10 megaman games on one cartridge without downloads and i Pay 60eur. Or gime all megamanX on one cartridge and i again buy this for 60eur. But i dont buy small collections of 30yo games or halfphysical/halfdigital trash :)

  2. I seriously don’t understand what capcom’s hesitation is with giving us new mega Man games: yes I’m glad that these anniversary collections exist, but I think we’ve waited long enough for a new mega Man game

  3. Sad to see him go, but he has been at the company for 30 years and atleast he leaves on a high note so thats something. Wish him all the best.

Right now I’m more curious on who will take his place.
