Next week, Gamescom will be officially happening in Cologne, Germany. However, the event doesn’t quietly. Geoff Keighley hosts a presentation at the beginning of every Gamescom that is called Gamescom Opening Night Live. As for what games will be shown, Keighley had something to say about that earlier today.
Keighley spoke to Video Games Chronicle, revealing that “It’s going to be an exciting show with new looks at many announced upcoming games like Alan Wake 2, and Black Myth Wukong. This year’s Opening Night Live is less about announcing brand new projects, and more about giving fans updates on some of the biggest games due out over the next year”. Gamescom Opening Night Live will be happening on August 22nd.
Of course he have to make sure to keep the important announcements for the game awards so the game awards becaomes even more famous so the games they choose to be winner sells more, its a type of controlling the industry.
