Take-Two closes OlliOlli and Kerbal Space Program 2 devs amid industry layoffs

In the latest blow to the gaming industry, Take-Two Interactive Software has reportedly made the decision to shut down two of its subsidiaries, Private Division and Roll7, as well as Intercept Games, the developer behind Kerbal Space Program 2. This move adds to the unfortunate trend of job losses that have plagued the industry this year. Private Division, based in London, is known for titles like OlliOlli and Rollerdrome. Roll7, its subsidiary, is facing closure, with Take-Two offering severance agreements to its employees. Similarly, Intercept Games, based in Seattle and responsible for Kerbal Space Program 2, is set to close its office, resulting in the loss of approximately 70 jobs.

Despite these closures, Take-Two has assured that Kerbal Space Program 2 will continue to receive updates, offering some reassurance to fans of the space flight simulation game.

  1. I feel bad for people who spent money of KSP2 now…. poor people just wanted another fun space sim but all they got was just barebones game.

If you ever want to play a GOOD Space Sim, play the first game, it looks basically the same and you can get mods for it to have it become KSP2 without having to pay like $50 for it

  2. The worst thing is that everyone closes or lays off… whether it’s Sony or Microsoft, I hope Nintendo doesn’t come to that
