Bandai Namco teases Tales Of 30th anniversary stuff that “can’t be revealed at the moment”

It has been a few years since Bandai Namco released a new Tales Of game. The last game was Tales of Arise, which was released in 2021. However, that game is not available on the Nintendo Switch. Nevertheless, next year will mark 30 years since the first game in the series, Tales of Phantasia, was released. Because of this, there has been some interest in what the company may be planning.

So, it isn’t surprising that Bandai Namco was asked about this in a recent shareholders meeting. According to an attendee, when they were asked if there were any Tales Of 30th anniversary plans, a company representative said that “there are things I can’t reveal at the moment, but please look forward to upcoming announcements”. The attendee notes that this answer differs from what they usually say, and that the “things I can’t reveal at the moment” was said with “a suggestive expression”.

      1. The initial launch was bad, terrible even, but it’s since been updated. For the longest they ignored the battle intro animation, but even that’s been patched in. I still want my tales games on the go.

  1. They screwed Tales of Symphonia. They never gave back Tales of Graces to Nintendo players. They delisted PS3 games.

    Piss off, Badco.
