Japan: Pokemon Legends: Z-A has sold 1.48 million physical copies this week

The latest Japanese physical video game software and hardware charts have come through from the team at Famitsu. The best-selling video game was none other than the new mainline Pokemon game Pokemon Legends: Z-A which sold a staggering 1.48 million physical copies. The best-selling video game hardware was the Nintendo Switch 2 which sold 201,684 units, the Switch family sold 23,713 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 12,085 units, the Xbox Series family sold 188 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 23 units.

  1. I heard someone saying they needed Legends Z-A to sell 200k to break even. Regardless I’m not surprised this game sold almost 1.5 million in JP. Judging by the sales in JP it’s probably going to be around the same world wide.
