Nintendo 3DS: Professor Layton Vs Ace Attorney Trailer For Nintendo 3DS!

Level 5 and Capcom have released a trailer for Professor Layton Vs Ace Attorney on the Nintendo 3DS. The game is due out sometime in 2012 in Japan but there’s still no official word on a Western release. Let’s hope Capcom and Level 5 announce something soon!

  1. I hope that this is more of an Ace Attorney game with lots of puzzles, instead of a Professor Layton game with puzzles that involve a court system. Not that Layton games are bad, but we’ve had our fill of them lately. Much of the latest Ace Attorney games have been remakes of trials on the GBA. (I said much, not all)

  2. The Ace Attorney part looks AMAZING! But, the 3D model for Phoenix looks kinda…. Let’s say different since the other games uses sprites

  4. Honestly, I think I would have liked it more if it was all sprite based or all hand animated and was coming out for the DS, but I’m certainly not going to complain! This looks like a great crossover. I really hope it comes out in America.

I will admit though, it is strange seeing Layton and Phoenix in 3D. They don’t look bad, just strange.

  5. WEST!!!! i cant see this game not coming out here. to be honset ive never played professor layton, but i LOVE ace attorney and i think this would be an amazing mash up. probably in my top 5 3ds games, along with super mario 3d land, resident evil revelations, luigis mansion 2, and mario kart 7. also very excited to try fire emblem, professor layton mask of miracle and monster hunter 3g & 4, three game franchises ive surprisingly never played before.
