Developers Say They’ve Seen TimeSplitters 4

Timesplitters 4 is apparently very real as a few select developers have seen the much-anticipated game up and running. Although the game is in development there’s always the chance that it may not be released. However, the developer says that if the game is released then we’re likely to see a rerelease of the previous three games in the series.

“Trusted OXM sources have claimed that they’ve seen TimeSplitters 4 running. That’s no guarantee that it’ll be released – at least one version of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was cancelled without ever being announced – but it’s a promising sign.”

“If we do get a proper sequel, we’re likely to see the old games appear, too.”

        1. As much as I think that comment was fully unjust from Crytek, I don’t see that as a reason not to get Timesplitters 4. I’ve been waiting for this game for nearly 7 years now…

  1. No TimeSplitters 4. Just add more to TimeSplitters 2 and add online play. That is all that is needed. Personally I want a Survival Mode like in MW3 as I’m addicted to that.

    1. Timesplitters basically invented zombie hordes. Of course it wasn’t like CoD is today, but it was arguably better- you and 3 friends in the house with shotguns.

  2. FINALLY!!

its going to set higher standard to the FPS genre like it always does, and as the last 2 instalments, Map Creater will be AWESOME!!

  3. I remember playing Time Spliters years ago and not being able to keep my attention held on it. Also I have not once played anything Crisis and I am quite glad to say it. The majority of shooters are all the same with different skins and shades. Quite frankly I am ready for shooters to go the ways of guitar hero and be a thing of the past. The market is over saturated with low quality games like MW3 because people will buy anything that puts a gun in there hands and it really is not something that should be put up with. All I have to say about their used games statement is this, free enterprise. Even though they are not an American company where such things are suppose to be protected any movement of that sort would see their games off of American shelves permamently.
