Nintendo has announced via a press release that it sold more than 400,000 total hardware units in June and saw double-digit growth across each of its product lines compared to May. This includes more than 155,000 Nintendo 3DS systems, more than 150,000 units of the Nintendo DS family of systems and nearly 95,000 Wii consoles.

That’s great I suppose
it’s great for something it was destined to the DOOM!.
My Body is Reggie.
While sony is becoming bankrupt. next sega anyone?
Their playstation division isnt losing money but their other major divisions are.
Well their Playstation division is, mostly due to r&d costs for the vita and ps4.
the WHOLE SONY is losing money. division my ass.
Not really. Their PlayStation division did take a loss in the previous years. That doesn’t mean it still is.
Their movie, television, and music divisions are doing fine if not great. You probably helped fund them too by ratings when watching your favorite TV shows or watching a blockbuster film.
Electronics is in a bit of trouble due to high TV costs for one.
Etc. etc. etc.
Stop being a whiny fanboy. Nintendo took a loss last year too. But that doesn’t mean they’ll stay down. Companies take losses all the time. They can recover though.
The fact that Sony is a multinational conglomerate and doesn’t just rely on one thing for profits helps.
I don’t see why Sony was brought up anyway, this is about Nintendo sales not: How we can trash other companies!
Anyway, sounds good for Nintendo. These are usually slow months for gaming anyway but those are still decent numbers.
“take losses all the time” in nintendos case first time since they drew their first profit, 1980 I think
As in, a loss is not an uncommon occurrence in the world of business. Not necessarily losses all the time to one specific company.
Sony took over 10x a loss than Nintendo. Do your damn research. They are also losing millions on the failed Vita project, which is selling less than the PSP at the moment. Good research fanboy.
“Good research fanboy.”
While they’re not exactly in a good position, they’re not bankrupt. Sony isn’t going to go out when their Gaming division is their best one at the current moment.
What’s most sad is people are still buying wiis
U sad Winnie?
i see people still buy ps2 whats your point?
wow really! people are still buying a video game console. that truly is sad.
keep those sales coming
Nintendo is truly the world leader in video games. Over 400k Nintendo units sold in the US last June? Major props go to NoJ President Iwata, NoA President The Regginator, and NoA VP of taking names Mofitt!
the gaming giant managed 2 produce & sell 400,000 nintendo consoles in june, for the trusty nintendo fans to purchase and play them?.. thats spectacular.. what a holy relationship , i compare my bond w/nintendo to the relationship of a sexy mistress and her alcoholic female lover.
Your comment, made my day sir.

Yeah. Cause 80 000 sales per week is bad.
He only shows up when it’s supposed bad news for Nintendo. Obvious troll. Never reply to him.
Why is L on that hat?
IT’s for luigi
Get N or get OUT!!!
thanks. i appreciate that, made my day 2. nintendooo all the way!!
dsi is still going strong.
Congrats Nintendo. It’s all you. Leave luck to heaven.
I find it strange how Nintendo was the huge superpower then got surpassed by the others and now is getting back on top. I think its down to the user friendliness and a focus on less intense games. i.e. cheaper to produce and more casual gaming!
