Acclaimed developer Level 5 has confirmed that its mysterious Youkai Watch is going to be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. Level 5 showed off the game around a year ago, but neglected to mention which platform the game was in development for. It was announced in the latest edition of Japanese publication CoroCoro that the game will be for the Nintendo 3DS. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to get some more details about the intriguing game.
I don’t really care since it probably won’t to the west…
I care a lot because it looks awesome, and since Level-5 is planning on making a TV-serie alongside with the game, it looks like they’re making a major IP out of this one. That makes me think it probably WILL come to the west. Hoping so anyway.
Also, if the gameplay from the trailer truly is for the 3DS the graphics are NUTS! I thought it was for PS3 or Vita :O :P

This is the CoroCoro cover, it clearly says 3DS. It MIGHT be so that there are multiple versions, and the trailer stuff MIGHT not be for 3DS, but for now there’s absolutely NO reason to believe so.
