Yes folks its true, Wii news over the past couple of days has all but calmed down as the dust settles over the E3 event in Los Angeles. The gaming event revealed nearly all we could wish to know about most of our favourite games and consoles, that are set to appear over the coming year and next. This is bad for those of you looking for all elusive Wii reports, and are waiting for me to reveal what Nintendo's final secret is for the Wii, but it's certainly good for those of us who have truck loads of work to do for educational purposes ;).
Anyhow without further ado, you may have noticed on Monday that a movie version of Nintendo's successful Animal Crossing franchise is going to released in the land of the Rising Sun. You may well be asking why I have only just now decided to report on this, well the reason being is that Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has just released an illustration of what the movie will look like. As you can see the movie appears to take the form of an anime, and is to be produced by Japanese director Jouji Shimura. The movie is bound to be a success in it's home country where the game has managed to sell over 3 million copies. The film its due out this December, though no word as of yet has surfaced of a possible European release date. As always stay tuned to Sickr for more details as soon as they arise.
