I posted this image on the Official Nintendo Magazine Forums a week or so ago and received such an unexpected, and overwhelming response that I thought I’d share it with those of you who’ve yet to see it.
The snap shot was taken courtesy of IGN at the recent Nintendo press conferences that took place in America, England and Japan. The image helps show off the Wii’s rather attractive back-side, something most of us will be very familiar with later this year.

Well according to a press release I saw a GameTrailers.com (Quicktime Link) [Windows Media Link] from the Tokyo Games Show, Sony is taking a gamble. Sony is proposing to make the PS3 the center of most of its future products. Which will either fail spectacularly or will be an amazing success.
Wow chunky and oh a red port! I didn’t think the fan grate would look so large, but I guess the console is small. It’s still the size of three DVD cases stacked together right?
You’re correct about the PlayStation 3 being used as the central hub for the family’s home entertainment center, and I can’t see why it won’t. The Wii on the other hand as you can see just has the essential sockets embedded on the back, and that’s fine with me for the price we’re receiving it for :)
Yup ‘mouseecstacy’ the console is as Nintendo stated the size of three DVD cases stacked together, if you’ve managed to see any of the comparison photos lurking around the net which show the Wii up against the other consoles you can see that the Wii certainly dwarfs the others in size :D
