Nintendo Wii: Street Date Broken!

wiibox.jpg
Two intrepid gamers hoping to get their hands on the ever-so-elusive PlayStation 3 received much more than they bargained for when they arrived at their destination; the local Sears store.

Armed solely with the intention of purchasing the much sought-after PlayStation 3, the two were informed that the appliance store only had two units in stock.

The discernibly clueless store assistant then enlightened the disheartened gamers with the joyous news that the Nintendo Wii was available for immediate purchase.

So without further hesitation the boys laid down their personal finances, and subsequently made a hasty retreat back to their vehicle, armed with what can ony be described as a Nintendo fan boys wet dream.

  1. Wow! I wholeheartedly wish that was me who got to purchase those consoles early! Now I have to wait in line for 10 hours today in the cold… :( Oh well, it’s worth it. :)

  2. Best of luck to those of you braving the cold this evening to secure yourself a Wii unit. I hope you all manage to get your hands on one :)

  3. Tell me about it… My anticipation levels are reaching previously unattainable new heights! I’m so envious that a fairly large majority of the readers will be set to embrace and experience true next generation gaming tomorrow. Roll on December 8th I say…. :)

  4. Haha that’s excellent. I actually bought Super Mario Sunshine two days before release in a local store that incorrectly thought that GAME were already selling it and, why should they get to headstart if no-one else can? And the GAME website sent me my copy of Wind Waker two days before release too! This is obviously much better.

  5. Tomorrooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

    Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!

Those guys are way 2 lucky. Oh and I walked by the Wii’s at company “X” like 50times today… I just kept drooling every time I passed by and people kept giving me weird looks.

    Barely 4 hours left!!!
