Nintendo 3DS: First Image Of A Nintendo 3DS Running Homebrew

It looks as though hackers have finally got their way with the Nintendo 3DS if this image of the Nintendo 3DS purportedly running a simple ‘hello world’ application is actually legitimate. No further information or screenshots have been released but if this is indeed proof of homebrew running on the Nintendo 3DS then expect a plethora of Youtube videos to surface.

  1. I have a feeling the whole, “we’ll brick your 3DS if you hack it” thing is actually driving hackers to crack the system. Sony has shown us never let the hackers have morality on their side.

  2. To be honest homebrew is not piracy and is not bad.
The 3DS is a powerful device and I don’t think it is wrong not to explore it’s capabilities.
It should even be strong enough to support simple flash games that you paly just for fun (the games nintendo said they will not support) and with the growing indie scene I would love seeing some Indie games on the 3DS.
