There’s still a lot of doubt as to whether Monster Hunter Tri G will be coming to West. Nintendo themselves published Monster Hunter Tri for Wii in Europe and North America, but Capcom remains distinctly silent on the subject. Scans of the instruction manuals from the Tokyo Game Show booths have appeared online and they’re in English. Could this be a hint that they’re planning to bring the game over to the West?

I hope so. I’m more concerned about Tri G coming to the west than 4 at the moment. Cos let’s face it, even if Hunter 4 doesn’t come to the West, there’s still a chance that the inevitable Hunter 4 G could.
meh, who cares
Every Monster Hunter cares.
Monster hunter fans care., I care, Nintendo cares, Capcom should care!
I WANT MONSTER HUNTER 3DS!
I realy hope so monster hunter is my favorite game
Hope it does. Something to hold me over until Monster Hunter 4 is released.
Sorry, but as far as I as know the manual in english was for the internacional press at the event.
Monster Hunter is a great game. Of course they need to bring it over here.
“Urcusis”? “Bracchidios”? They’ve never appeared in an English Monster Hunter, so this is their first time receiving English names. HMMM. Their Japanese names are “Urukususu” and “Burakidiosu” btw.
You might have a point there.
I hope that it does come to the west as we have never received one of the G games outside of Japan. So if it does make it outside it raises the chances of future monster hunter games also been released out of Japan.
We have, they’re just not called “G”, just like they don’t call the Portable games “Portable”. Example “Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G” is “Monster Hunter Freedom Unite” in the west.
Why not say US instead of West?
Because it’s not only about the US?
It’s only about the US nobody cares about those other continents.
Hey hey fk u guy australia wants epic too :( :D
Because he’s mainly talking about Europe. By “west” that basicly means outside of Japan/smaller Eastern nations.
because the world doesnt revolve around the u.s., other people wanna play this game to. heck were of a european site
Selfish Americans, I’m glad you haven’t got xenoblade and the others!
Awww, we’re not all like that jerk. D: Now you’re just being selfish. :'( :P
Okay minus you ;)
Generalizing Europeans, I’m sure glad you guys don’t have the most powerful, richest country in the world.
That’s currently poorer than apple lmao
im american and i have xenoblade
This is a game that should be enjoyed by all regions, even God Eater got localized so MH 3DS will do the same.
Sad enough to say, i cant blame you for saying that. I am an american and i see it everyday, thats whey there are allot of great games out there. But the american industries are ridiculous, Allot of companies dont want jobs in america because they dont want to pay base wages, but yet they want to handpick what come in. Sad to say enough really.
But it will be said they better bring monster hunter tri g to america, i own every monster hunter released here in america, and ritually play monster hunter freedom unite 2nd g (long name) as well as monster hunter tri
More Monster Hunter please!
and for the love of god america put COD down and play more MH sheesh
sad enough to say, i agree with this guy, leave cod alone, its overrated
My life is over if I doesn’t get localized…
Pingback: Nintendo 3DS Connect » Monster Hunter Tri G to be localised after all?
I’d probably play it a lot more than I do MH3 if it were to come over and I don’t even have a 3DS!
(not trolling)
What is monster hunter about anyways? I keep seeing them around and I never knew what they were.
It’s exactly what the name implies: you hunt monsters. But these aren’t normal monsters who you can just mash the A button until they die; they are large, powerful, tough, beasts that require time, patience, and skill to beat.
If you only play RPG’s (where your power is determined by an arbitrary level) then you’ll get destroyed at first. If you’re able to adapt and improve your own skill, you’ll do just fine.
In other words, it’s a hard game for hardcore gamers. If you only have a few minutes at a time to sit down and play, you won’t get very far since the monsters can take up to 50 minutes to kill.
I do like RPGs. Is there a story line to it?
There is a very light storyline but no one really plays Monster Hunter for the narrative. Like the other guy said, it’s basically a game of epic boss battles. It takes a lot of patience and skill but it is incredibly rewarding when it all pays off and you take down a beast the size of a small town and then harvest its dead body for parts to make new armor and weapons. Yeah…it’s every bit as awesome as it sounds. MH3 is my favorite game on the Wii and that’s really saying a lot.
Thanks. If it comes here for 3DS then ill get it maybe. I need to think of more games Ill get when I buy a 3DS in December.
I SEVERELY hope it’s going to feature online if it comes out in the west. I’m not playing this online based game all on my own. I hate Tri’s offline mode.
I hope it has online to. Monster hunter Tri for Wii had online, But the way game developers use online for 3DS… they never think online.
Capcom has done online on Street fighter 3DS, so i would have thought monster hunter tri 3DS does so.
Well lets hope we don’t have to start another movement…
It would be a huge mistake on capcoms part not to localize it. I doubt they would make it japan only as it was a huge announcement title for the 3DS as well as MH 4.
