      1. No way will it come back, they said 1000 only so they’d have to go back on their word which would make it less collectible and valuable. It makes me sad though, I didn’t get one either!

  2. I’m not a Kirby fan myself but I kind of feel sorry for those who are. They’re the ones who deserve the pin yet I’m sure 80% of the people who will be getting this pin will get this because it’s limited edition, not because they’re Kirby fans!

    1. Industries boomed after the poatwsr primarily because the war changed the living of all people. Things were evolving and moving fast to keep up with the new lifestyles. The biggest changes were the roles of the women and classes within the society. Women were seen more prominently especially to the designers of that time. Women made most of the household decisions because the home was their domain. So designers had to change to fit the needs and wants of women. Class also affected this because it labeled people. The poor could only afford so much and the rich could afford and wanted a lot more. They wanted the biggest and best things possible. So a wealthy women would only accept the newest and shiniest things. Most of these came in kitchen appliances. The kitchen was seen as the heart of the home. Designers made these appliances to not only function the best but also look the best. Big but not bulky, shiny but not tacky. Women of middle class were also spending more to keep up to date with the upper class. They wanted to try to look like they had money even though they may not have a lot. This status put pressure on people to buy and change, which in return helped the industries. This constant need for the newest, biggest, and best thing shaped the world of design and the market. It is constantly growing and changing to fit the needs of the group it is aimed at whether its gender, age, or a class status.
