Attack On Titan 3DS Trailer

Attack on Titan is a popular manga that was adapted into an anime series in Japan and is a hit sensation, mesmerizing fans in both Japan and the west alike. Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind is being developed by Spike Chunsoft, the same studio responsible for the excellent 999: Nine Hours, Nine Personas, Nine Doors for the Nintendo DS and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward for the 3DS. The title is set for release in Japan on December 5th for the 3DS and no localization has been announced as of yet. As other anime-inspired games such as One Piece have been announced to receive a localization in the west, do you think bringing over a game like Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind would be worth Nintendo’s time? How do Attack on Titan fans feel about the upcoming title? With the 3DS being region locked, it is now is almost impossible to import games from Japan unless you want to pay the addition cost of buying a Japanese 3DS.

    1. It helps that the series is licensed (at least in North America). Remember all those bleach games that came out for the Wii and DS? I think it has a decent chance. I love the series so this would be a no-brainer for me to buy (not going to lie I’m extremely biased on this).

  1. I can’t say that I’m a fan of the series. The manga is overly violent and likewise with the manga. Interesting plot, but bad execution. It’s not awful, but it would be a lot better if it were toned down

    1. Well youve clearly either never seen it or just have some weird over reaction to fictional violence that its even THAT bad, most of the gore in AOT in suggestive, and in your head, which actually works out bigger better.

As Hitchcock put it, “nothing is more frightening that what your mind creates”

      1. I don’t know what you’re comparing it too because the only thing that I’ve ever seen with that much violence in the past is HXH and that is extremely excessive

    1. I love the manga, and the anime is executed much better, and I was excited to hear about the 3DS game, but the trailer looks worse than Fist of the North Star! Just doing the same killing the same way over and over… I think after all, this would not sell well.

  4. I’m just guessing but most of the westerners can’t speak Japanese so why would we care for the region locking any way? If we want to play this game it have to be localized in English…

  5. the new layout colour is absolutely gorgeous but the layout sucks. The comments are smaller and narrower which makes this really sucks. oh and your article is smaller too. Please make these big (thats what she said)

  6. I want this game so bad! I think it’s ratings and just the overall purchasing of the game/anime itself will sky rocket!! It’s so popular especially in the United States right now, i think it’d be a no brainer to actually release it over to the United States as well as other regions. LOTS of people have a 2DS/3DS in the U.S. PLEASE DO IT!! <3 I WILL BUY IT :D :D
