Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune’s 3DS title KAIO: King of Pirates has been pushed back to 2014. Originally, the action adventure game was due for release in 2012, after it was announced way back in 2011. However, Marvelous AQL and Comcept together pushed the date back once again to 2013, and nothing had been heard since. Now, according to the official website, the date has been pushed back once more to an unspecified date in 2014.
In 2011, we reported that the developer had set its sights on bringing the game over to western shores, but there’s been no mention that it will be released outside of Japan. To refresh your memory of KAIO: King of Pirates, you can find the trailer, here.

Not good news for those waiting for His Mighty No 9 game to come out… Especially if he can’t get another game out for over 2 years past original launch date.
Didn’t even know this guy was making a 3DS game…
This game is so off the radar right now, I completely forgot about it. We haven’t even seen gameplay footage of it.
