The latest installment in the Nintendo Minute series focuses on Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The episode features producer Katsuya Eguchi and director Aya Kyogoku, both of whom have worked on the Nintendo 3DS life simulation title. Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which launched a year ago, introduced several new elements to the series, like customizing specific pieces of furniture, swimming in the ocean and sharing personalized homes with friends. The game is available in stores and on the Nintendo eShop.

They will bring it to Wii U, mark my words. Gotta keep in mind it did start on the Gamecube, so I am pretty sure we will see a Wii U version later on down the line.
It has always released on every Nintendo console since the game was made, so I wouldn’t fear.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf already feels like yesterday’s news. Haven’t played it in months. I want a Wii U version!!!
New Leaf is great, i still play it every day, i got it with the 3DS free game promotion where you register three games & get another free.
The game is great & BlueBear is the BEST !
The game may look good if it came to the WiiU but i don’t think it would work, the game is designed for handheld or mobile, on a full console i think people would lose interest sooner.
You talk as if no Animal Crossing game has ever made it to a major console. The major console versions are always the BEST! Except….I didn’t care as much about City Folk (a.k.a. Let’s Go To The City). It felt too much like Wild World. And the city part was too simplistic and insignificant.
I agree. I love ACNL and I so badly want a Wii U version. It would have to have a sync system with the 3DS so you can travel with it and sync it back to the Wii U once home. Like the Monster Hunter 3 combo.
