The world record for beating the iconic Super Mario Bros on the NES has been smashed by speed runner, Blubbler. The previous record for the game was 4:58:09, but Blubbler finished in 4:57.69. The record-breaking speed run was achieved by a bullet bill glitch at level 8-2, which allowed Blubbler to skip the walk to the castle.

It allowed him to go straight into the point breakdown, instead in of having Mario walk to the castle(about half a second), and then having the points calculated. I mean, he only saved about half a second but still
