Atlus has confirmed an Etrian Odyssey 2 remake will be released for the Nintendo 3DS later this year in Japan. Fans of the dungeon-crawler RPG spotted a teaser for the game back in June on the Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth official website, where a suspicious broccoli was found hiding amidst the game logo. Those who followed their natural curiosity were awarded with a teaser site hinting that an Etrian Odyssey title was in development.
The publisher has also revealed an announcement trailer for the upcoming game, which you can see above, along with an official website opening fully on August 11. Etrian Odyssey 2 is scheduled to launch in Japan this winter, and will feature the gorgeous voice of Kanako Itō singing the title’s main theme.
