Renegade Kid has unveiled a brand-new trailer for Xeodrifter. Set to launch this Thursday, December 11th, the game features 2D platforming, boss battles and unlockable power-ups. Players can collect upgrades to extend their health, equip custom gun enhancements, and navigate their ship between neighboring planets. Secrets can also be revealed by seeking out special blocks and hidden pathways. Xeodrifter will be available for $9.99 via the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.

I LOVE 8-bit style games. I specialize in the NES. I have nearly every NES game. But the sad thing is, I HATE digital games! Therefore I always miss out on new indie games like this and Shovel Knight. And I’m still hoping that Capcom eventually releases a physical copy of Mega Man 9 and 10 on Wii U. Same as Nintendo did with NES Remix.
