Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct will air on Wednesday, January 14th, at 6 a.m. PT. The upcoming online presentation will feature company president Satoru Iwata and crew. It will focus on spring 2015 Wii U and Nintendo 3DS releases. The last Nintendo Direct took place in November and included the announcement of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, which is scheduled to launch this spring. The event will be broadcast in Europe 15:00 CET (14:00 UK time).
Sweet, hope to see news regarding a release date for the New 3DS in the UK/Europe.
hope they will make one day a new advance wars a true castelvania a remake for the great and best turn based rpg ever golden sun and golden sun the lost age why not a captain tsubasa or make inazuma eleven more playball like inazuma eleven strikers for the wii adding more survival horror game like resident evil and make remake for lost in blue fire emblem the sacred stones or make some new chapters of any of those games.

I m i the only one that was dissapointed from Dark Dawn.Hated that it was linear.
I didn’t like that somewhat yes and the fact that Blados and Chalis were pushovers…
I forgot so much about the story and the characters and i played it two years ago on my ds and i havent forgotten a thing from chrono trigger and i played that many years ago.
It didnt have any impact and the puzzles were fun but in the older golden sun games were better.Still the battles were awesome and 1 aspect i like in the series!
The soundtrack was as wonderful as ever and so were the villains and Chaos Chimera was decent at best…
That was the ONLY boss I had trouble with in that game… To me the second game had the most hardest boss out of the 3! I remember fighting Triton and fighting that stupid dragon from Gaia Rock! And also fighting Agatio and Karst was pretty hard too but that battle was just toooo epic! And when I saw Issac talking I was like “WHAT SO HE COULD TALK THE WHOLE TIME?!?!?!” The final boss in that game wasn’t too bad though and it was super fun because I had to think really well and make sure I use the right turns! That game was just amazing man
To me, The Lost Age is my favorite RPG of all times so far…
Isaac & Felix suffered from the Link Syndrome (the main character must never talk.) Same for Matthew. lol
I was disappointed by how short it was and how much unexplained stuff there is… WTF happened to everyone from Lost Age? Where’s Felix? Where’s Sheba? We also never figure out where Sheba exactly came from! (unexplained since the first game) They mentioned Piers a lot in the game but you never see him! We also never know where Nowell (Rief’s sister) went!!! Plus what are the Psynergy Vortexes?!?! We also never see the Tuaparang or know what exactly Dark Adepts are! Also what the fuck was Alex after the whole time?!! And does Issac and Garet ever enter the Sol Sanctum again?!!?
So much stuff the next Golden Sun game can explain. As for the last question, you do remember that Sol Sanctum has been destroyed, right? It’s buried underneath what use to be a mountain.
Oh & I’m pretty sure Sheba comes from a clan of Wind Adepts that pulled a Skyloft on the world since she did fall from the sky. >.<

3 things I want to see-
Mario Maker-Because I am really hyped for this game and what else is new that they didn’t show off at E3 or TheGameAwards.
Majoras Mask 3D+New 3DS bundle and release date-It seems like a given that both will go hand in hand. Nintendo would stupid not to allow this to get potential increased New 3DS sales at launch by having a bundle of one of the most requested 3DS releases ever.
Mario Kart 8 May DLC news-At least talk about a new track or two and a new vehicle or at most, a trailer of said things. However, I don’t see this happening as the DLC has still a bit of time until release. However, that being said, it’s not impossible as it is releasing in Spring and this is what the Direct is about.
What I don’t expect to see-
Zelda U and Starfox

Not happening. 100GB is not needed, unlike PS4 and Xbox One you don’t install every damn game to the system. Unless your going ALL DIGITAL you don’t need more memory, and even if you want more, buy it yourself with an external harddrive. And the Gamepad really only needs a better battery…
I live in Australia. The price of the Wii U is already a joke. A for 100 bucks more, I can buy a PS4 with a 500gb HD. That is better value for money. And from what I understand the gamepad last for 4 hours and needs to be plugged in externally. So yeah, there are improvements that can be made for the gamepad. Plus, a 100gb hard drive is another 100 bucks. See where I’m going with this

As for Wii U, you can fit at least 25 retail games on 32gb.

I do agree that the Wii U price in Australia is an absolute joke though. Everywhere in the world has seen a price drop except Aus (standard premium bundle is $419 in JB). Add to that, there is literally only the Mario Kart 8 bundle. I’ve seen at least 4 or 5 different ones for both PS4 & and XBone with 1-2 games for about a $100-$150 more… No wonder the twin consoles dominate down under.
At the end of the day though, I like Nintendo’s games, so I’m prepared to pay for it. I’ve been having a blast on my Wii U for about a year and a half now, and the GamePad charge lasts me about 5-6 hours. Very rarely have I been stuck with little charge. In saying that, whenever I put the GamePad down it goes back into it’s charging cradle right next my lounge :)
So what you’re saying is that the Wii U having more storage isn’t a plus no matter what.

I’m hoping for a better release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X, some footage of Star Fox U, Golden Sun 4 being announced (fucking please) for the 3DS (I’ll even gladly take a Wii U release with HD graphics as I’d love to see the old summons in glorious HD), a timeline placement of the new Zelda game would also be nice (if it’s a direct sequel to Skyward Sword, I’ll be drinking the tears of the Skyward Sword haters lol), some info about Metroid for the Wii U & 3DS, and hopefully they’ll address the amiibo shortages & NOT screw us over with fucking cards when most of us want the god damn figurine!
Oh & please don’t give us a release date of the Wave 3 amiibo before January 30th. If it’s days before then, I’m fucking screwed when it comes to getting the amiibo of Shulk since Gamestop is most likely greedily only taking preorders so they can pull an Amazon & sell new shipments of Shulk for more than the actual retail price.
Skyward sword is very underrated by the fans. It should be respected just for the fight with Demise and Kolotos.
I think it should also be respected for finally answering certain questions like why is the series called Legend of Zelda if Zelda isn’t even the main character. Or why the Master Sword is even called the Master Sword.

Predicting… New 3DS Release Date and Pricing, release dates for Majora’s Mask, Yoshi’ Wolly World, Kirby, and Splatoon, something amiibo-related (either Wave 4 announced or talk about the stock issues they’ve been having and their plan to fix that), and something DLC-related (either MK8, HW, or Smash).

If they don’t tell us about future Wii U games we don’t know about then this Nintendo Direct is useless. It would be nice if something never confirmed was confirmed and showed. But it won’t happen. Probably just show the same games for Wii U.
There will be future Wii U games coming up later this year… especially the upcoming E3 event. Especially new gameplay in Star Fox U and The Legend of Zelda U. For now, Nintendo Direct’s focus is on SPRING 2015.
