Nintendo Japan has uploaded some delightful footage of the upcoming Wii U and 3DS title Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars. The four-minute trailer shows off a number of levels, where players must guide Mario and co. across hazardous areas to the correct exit doors, collecting coins and power-ups along the way. You’ll have to weigh up the risks versus the rewards, however, as there are many challenges waiting in the wings to keep you on your toes.
Earlier today, the game’s Japanese website opened and features a few interesting tips and tricks, a focus on Miiverse integration and star swapping with friends. Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars will be available for both the Wii U and 3DS on March 5 in North America, and a little later in Europe on March 20.

I hope we get more gamed like this. It would make my Wii U larger, and have a portable version.
I just noticed… “Tripping Stars”…..????…. “Tripping Balls”
It is so annoying listening to JAP. Would it take lots of effort for Nintendo to do English as well? Terrible, Nintendo.
They’ll probably do one soon. The reason that Japan gets the trailer first, is because Nintendo’s a Japanese company, so it’s quicker this way…
Japanese> English
You get if free on 3ds when you buy it on the wii u.
So u het both versions if u buy the wii u version, ok im sold.
I believe so or buying it on 3ds gets you a download code for wii u
Any version gets you the other version free…
This is one of the few game series from Nintendo that I can specifically say is the same thing each time… The 3D 3DS one was the only creative one since the first one…
how many are there anyway i never tried the series might try this one
There’s six entries I believe, but even if they have the same concept every level/puzzle is different. The game itself is real fun if you’re into to puzzle games that require a little thinking and planning. And even though the puzzles are not extremely challenging, the challenges set for each level raises the difficulty factor quite a bit. If you want to start off the series you can buy a cheaper, older title or nab the free one on CN.
I think there was 1 for the GBA, 2 for DS/DSi, and 1 for 3DS (2 for 3DS and 1 for Wii U if you include Tipping Stars, which isn’t out yet) The GBA one is a lot different than the rest of them, and was one of the GBA games for 3DS Ambassadors who bought the system before the price drop.
This is also Nintendo’s first game built on their HTML5 engine. This is one games I am sure to get.
