Miyamoto Meets Puppet Miyamoto: The Movie

While Nintendo’s Digital Event @ E3 was undeniably shaky, one thing that most viewers could agree on was that the Jim Henson performance was funny, adorable, and flat-out awesome. However, how did this idea come to be? What was Miyamoto’s first reaction when seeing the puppet version of himself? All questions are answered in Nintendo’s YouTube video below which operates as a part-interview, part-tour of Jim Henson Studios.

  1. If only the Digital Event was more exciting. Those puppets were the most entertaining part of the whole show. Such a shame.

    1. It wasn’t even that the games were lame (I had a blast watching the Treehouse) but it was that they didn’t show them off. They spent WAY too much time on those dev things. They were interesting, but not E3 worthy. Next E3 should be great, can’t wait to see the NX in motion.

      1. Yeah, I loved what I saw in the TreeHouse Live segments. The Dev Notes were interesting but they needed to be accompanied with some real game info and excitement. Wish more people saw the rest of Nintendo’s E3, though i understand their presentation should be far better.

    1. Ooh I’m getting exited with all the possibilities! Is it to early to say that MY BODY IS SO STINKING READY!!

  2. That electronic puppet controller thing at the end probably just expired Myamoto’s new game, or how he wants project giant robot to feel

  3. Shit like this makes me quietly get ready to save up money and go buy a PS4 and quit Nintendo. I see myself getting shit from them this year, as the system’s games are as fucking dead as the walking.

  4. Just shut up King your such a hater, I was happy that all of the comments on this article were positive until you ruined it.
