Modder Recreates Super Mario Sunshine Level In Super Mario 3D Land

While some fans continue to demand a Super Mario Sunshine remake, one modder has decided to take matters into his own hands. YouTube user Mk7tester has recreated the level Bianco Hills in Super Mario 3D Land. The 3DS platformer’s levels were much more linear than its GameCube cousin, so it’s surprising that the stage seems to run so smoothly. According to the modder, he had to simplify many of the original game’s textures and models to achieve this. Check out the video below.

    1. I haven’t played dark souls 3 in awhile usually once I beat souls games I don’t come back to them until years later.

      1. 3D Land and World are bursting with creativity and great level design. Especially 3D World. There’s a huge amount of variety in level design and ideas going on, as much as either of the Galaxy games.

        1. I agree with this completely. In fact, I loved the Galaxy games, but I never 100% either one of them. For some reason I had the urge to 100% both 3d Land and 3d World. Have to say, getting 100% on 3d World was some of the most fun I have ever had with a Mario game. With the exception of Mario 64 of course.
