Nintendo Has Filed A Trademark Application For “Excite Truck”

We could well be getting another Excite Truck game if a recent trademark application comes into fruition. Nintendo of America Inc recently filed the trademark application to the United States Patent and Trademark Office and it was entered in the Trademark Reporting and Monitoring System yesterday, Perhaps we could see a glimpse of a new Excite Truck at the Nintendo Switch unveiling which takes place on January 12th and 13th depending where you are from.

  1. I ordered Excite Truck for the Wii several months ago because I heard that it supported custom soundtracks (via SD card). But I’m so swamped with games that I never played it. I ordered Endless Ocean for that same custom soundtrack reason. It’s a shame (and a mystery) that more Nintendo games didn’t support custom soundtracks. Especially since they’re actually ABLE to through SD card.

    1. I’m glad someone else remembers! Playing Excite truck to my own music was really fun and felt innovative. It would have been awesome to have more games like that,I agree!
Endless ocean was fun. A guilty pleasure game for me.

  2. They did this for Eternal Darkness a few years back 7 nothing came from it. In other words, don’t get too excited. *notices they filed another trademark for Eternal Darkness again*
