The mainstream media might be saying the interest in Pokémon GO has been lost in recent months, but the iOS App Store says otherwise, at least in the United States. The augmented reality application that launched in the summer is still the number two grossing iPhone app. This means that it is still raking in plenty of cash for Niantic and the Pokémon Company. The only game that is bringing in more cash is Clash Royale.
1) Pokemon Go, the game that "nobody is playing anymore", is the No. 2 grossing iPhone app in America.

}{ Still dead… }{
You wish. ;)
It was number 5 then jumped back up. Mario is number 9 right now.
I’d sure be happy to have a slice of those dead presidents from this “dead” app….
Nintendo keeps making residue income from their IPs. Advertising at its best.
I was going to ask where SMRun was at. I see Mike reported it as #9. Still waiting for sales on Mario run! Looks like it may not have had what it took to remain on top. Helluva popular though. We’ll see if it translates to other Nintendo purchases, or was just a free ride for people wanting a nostalgia fix.
Mario run by its b2p nature would never remain in the top grossing lists because it doesn’t generate constant revenue.
(Insert generic comment saying the app is dead and that no one plays it anymore.)
