SEGA has been on a roll with announcing guest characters for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania. Before today, the line-up consisted of characters from SEGA’s own franchises, like Sonic the Hedgehog, Jet Set Radio and Yakuza, but now, someone totally unexpected will be joining in on the fun. Sanrio’s queen of crossovers Hello Kitty will be going bananas as a playable DLC character that will be available the same day that the game launches. She’ll be priced at $4.99 USD just like Morgana from Persona, who was also revealed as paid downloadable content just last week. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will be rolling its way onto Nintendo Switch physically and digitally on 5th October.
Hello Kitty announced as DLC for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

4.99 for hello kitty, how about goodbye kitty!
What do you mean by goodbye kitty? Do you hate hello kitty?
No I don’t hate hello kitty, I mean goodbye as in it’s quite steep price for one character
I’m honestly surprised she has blinking animations, because compare to Morgana he has none so your just looking at his deadpan stare in gameplay footage.
Rumor has it the next dlc character is Owen Wilson.
Um, don’t you mean “Yakuza”? When did Tekken’s Kazuya get a franchise named after him?
You’re totally right! No idea how that happened… I guess I just have Tekken on the brain. Thanks for letting me know, I’ve updated the post! 😊
Hello Kitty seems to be sneaking her paws into everything lately. What’s next? Smash Bros.?
