Rumour: The Zelda Switch (OLED Model) pre-orders could kick off at GameStop on 10th March

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-themed Nintendo Switch (OLED Model)

It is looking increasingly likely that the leaked The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) console is the real deal. Today YouTube channel Nintendo Prime has published an image of a new Nintendo Switch SKU on GameStop’s internal system which is has a date of Friday, 10th March listed. This date is most likely when the all-important pre-order programme could begin at the North American video game retail. It should be noted that Nintendo has not announced a The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) system, so at present this will marked as a rumour.

  1. Seems to me that splatoon 3 will always be the best looking oled switch, the others ones are pretty cool but they lack in other areas that being said it’s still nice to have custom theme switches, I hope Nintendo does that for their next system as well.

  2. Let me get this right: People are going to pay at least $420 before tax to play Zelda Tears of the sun knowing that the Switch is in its 7th year with no performance boost and not knowing when the next generation console coming? Why? Save your money and just fork over $70 bucks.

  3. Last time I got a limited edition console (NES 3DS XL) the New 3DS XL got announced about a month after, so as much as I want this, I’ll wait, just in case.

    1. I know that’s right. Just pay the $70 and wait to see what’s coming next instead of a fancy looking old Tegra 1 just to make it look like it’s worth $400. And if you play in TV mode only that’s just giving away your money even more.

    2. The orginal Oled will be 2 years in this September. I need to known how long is the Switch generation going to last. If it will last until 2026 then buying a Tears of the Kingdom Oled is worth it. But If the next console is announced this year with a release date then people who purchased this wasted their money for nothing.

  4. $70 for a game that is just DLC for BoTW? I’ll wait till I see it at a yard sale. One of the advantages of being poor is you can wait for years to buy a game or console real cheap and see the reviews being posted after the game is originally released so you don’t waste $60 on a dumpster fire of a game like Cyberpunk 2077.
