Super Nintendo World seems have received genuinely good feedback from fans, however there seems to be one common complaint that attendees have had and that is the $40 Power-Up Band. The Power-Up Band allows visitors to keep score throughout the land as you complete challenges, defeat Bowser Jr and collect digital coins, and more, but the issues which have arisen are due to the looseness of the Power-Up Band band which means they have a tendency to fall off or get lost. Popular theme park YouTuber Jenny Nicholson sparked a fierce conversation online when she said “Have we had the conversation about how these fly off your wrist if you jostle them?” with some saying that anytime you need to be active, the Power-Up Band flies right off the wrist. Some commenters pointed toward the fact that you can get “securement bands” at the park which prevent them from being lost with some joking that they were similar to the the infamous Wii remote straps, which were encouraged to prevent players from breaking TVs and home appliances when they first came out.
Super Nintendo World visitors complain about looseness of Power-Up Band

I think my complaint would be that the Power-Up band has a $40 price tag rather then it being loose, then again with a $40 price point one might expect it would be adjustable to accommodate for different wrist sizes.
Bro, can Nintendo PLEASE catch a break?
First they’re shaming fat people because the ride is too small, now they’re shaming skinny people because the bands are too big.
CAN NINTENDO FANS BE MADE HAPPY EVER?
Normally I would agree with you, but since nintendo is out here nuking people for uploading videos of their games, charging for subpar online, and releasing barebone versions of games with promises to update them later I think they deserve their criticism.
Why didn’t they test this in R&D before it was available to the public?
You do know they have already with none to small complainants in jappan for awhile. Me and my family, two kids had gone to Nintendo World with the bands and no issues.
I somewhat agree. It doesn’t take too long until the bands start to pry off your hand
Git Biggur
All these issues seem to be Universals fault and not directly Nintendo.
Haven’t even been to that place yet, but in 3 week I will c:
“the seats on the ride are too small, i cant fit”
“the bracelet bands are too loose, when i fling my wrist the fly off”
SHUT
THE FUCK
UP!
It’s true they’re very loose for a product that’s really expensive, they should’ve made the wristband into something else
Like a watch that has small holes on them so we can adjust them to keep them in place right?
if visitors know they are loose they they should do a better job a properly securing them like putting them away in a bag/purse to prevent from losing them when not in use considering they are expensive. i know they are meant to be worn but not meant for worn for long periods. this isn’t a Nintendo or a park problem, this is a visitors common sense problem.
I’ve been to Super Nintendo World a few times already, and have used the same Power Up Band on every trip. I have not had a single issue with it coming ‘loose’ at all. However, I do see lots of people not even wear them on their wrists. Instead, they hold them in their hands, with their fingers through the ‘band’ part, so that the top of the band is above their fingers, which are between the bands, and their thumbs are under the band, holding it in place. Then, with that grip, they tap it to the various “?” Blocks and other secret spots scattered across the park. But I haven’t seen people at the park complain about how the bands were ‘too loose’. They’re too busy using them and having fun.
For 40 bucks, I’d rather get a necklace or a ring.
It’s so funny!
